Consulting Practice

By way of introduction, we would like to share with you some of thoughts about our approach to consulting and our practice. 

Our approach.

You know your own business better than anyone else.  We understand this, of course.  You know situation, the problems and what you are trying to accomplish.  Therefore, we would like to work closely with you to learn about your business and understand the challenges before offering you our expert advice.  . 

For this reason, we do not try to impose a rigid approach or force you to adapt your business situation to our consulting methodology, unlike some of the larger consulting firms.  In other words, we do not oblige our clients to use a standard, "off-the-shelf" consulting methodology. 

Conversely, we provide our clients with individually customized solutions.  Our consulting assignments are tailor-made to the unique circumstances and business needs of each client.

Our approach is flexible.  While we will strive to achieve the stated objectives of the consulting assignment, complete them by the agreed deadlines and stay within budget, we usually work with our clients through a variety of different methods.  We will take the time to actively listen and understand the client's needs.  Then, we will design an individual approach and project plan for each client assignment.

 Our preferred approach is to work together with the client's staff as a team, using our extensive experience to provide thought-leadership, consulting analysis and methodology, and project management skills with the team’s knowledge to complete the objectives.  In this way, your interests as the client are maintained paramount, the knowledge gained is retained within the organization for future continuity, and your own staff are developed professionally.

On the other hand, we are able to act urgently on the client’s behalf when necessary.   Under a client’s instructions, we will trouble-shoot and problem-solve issues immediately in the field. 

With our extensive background, we can intervene directly to resolve a specific problem or a country issue as authorized by the client. 

(For example, on a few assignments, the sensitivity of the issue required that we intervene directly on a discreet basis, reporting in confidence to the CEO or other senior executive.)
